Condition MonitoringWith the Moca Cloud you can perform condition monitoring of your AV devices anywhere and at any time.The dashboard will show you all the AV devices of an installation. Each device has a traffic light, which informs in a simple way about the health status of the respective device. If a fault occurs, the traffic light, depending on the fault, turns to yellow or possibly even to red. At the same time, a defined project manager is informed by e-mail about the fault including the fault diagnosis. Problems can be solved directly and quickly. If, for example, a loudspeaker fails, the person responsible receives the information about which spare parts are needed for the repair via e-mail. The corresponding parts can thus be brought directly to the use.
GatewayIn order to establish a secure connection between the respective media technology installation and the cloud. Our solution uses a gateway with its own firmware.Each installation requires a gateway which translates the AES70 commands of all AV devices of an installation into TCP / IP commands. In addition, the gateway establishes a secure connection to the Mocacloud via SSL. The gateway has all the data for an automatic login in the cloud. For security reasons, only servers with locations in Germany are used in our solution. The gateway can be extended by an optional sensor board. The sensor board is equipped with a gyroscope, a magnetometer. The preprocessed sensor data is accessible in the cloud next to the device data and is used there for predictive diagnostics.
Predictive MaintenanceIn conjunction with the optional sensor board extension, the device data can be enriched with additional sensor data from the installation.This is done using self-learning algorithms that accurately predict based on the collected field data, as well as historical data, maintenance costs. The risk of failure of an AV installation is thereby reduced to a minimum. Maintenance costs can be planned in advance. This guarantees maximum availability.
The air pressure, humidity and temperature sensor allow, for example, to monitor extended environmental influences on the devices, or simply to prove the functionality of the climate control of the control cabinet. It can be detected by means of a magnetometer whether and when the door of the cabinet has been opened, and with the acceleration sensor it can be ascertained whether mechanical effects have taken place, to name but a few of many possible use cases.
Data AnalyticsFor the first time, AV devices can report field data they have obtained back to the manufacturer who can use it to improve its product.In addition, extended sensor data generated via the sensor board can be transmitted. The manufacturer thus has the opportunity to investigate the effects of global environmental influences on his devices and derive possible potential for improvement. The data collection will also be used in consultation with the manufacturers for predictive diagnosis.
Manufacturers usually cipher component variants, year of manufacture and model-specific features in the serial no. or the barcode of their devices. Our scanner app can be coupled with a project account of the Moca Cloud in the future. Thus, device-specific information can be stored directly in the project. Complete tracability helps to quickly and effectively solve possible failures in cooperation with the manufacturer.
In addition to condition monitoring, there are many more features available in the dashboard: With the Autoupdater function, the devices of your installation can always be automatically updated to the latest firmware version. Time-consuming manual updating and trading of different firmware versions is no longer necessary. Depending on the device, add-ons can be used to charge software features for a fee from the respective manufacturer. This can be done at any time, also in the aftermath, or only if the corresponding feature is actually needed. Via the virtual machine, the Moca Cloud support team, or even the device manufacturer, can assist virtually during initialization or trouble shooting.
